Graduates of the Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (B.ASLP) program are qualified to hold several professional designations in the healthcare and rehabilitation sectors. Upon successful completion of the degree, individuals may be recognized as:

  • Audiologist : Specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Therapist : Works with individuals who have speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.
  • Swallowing Therapist : Focuses on the assessment and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), often in medical or rehabilitation settings.

These roles involve diagnosing and managing speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders, thereby significantly improving individuals' quality of life.

These professionals are eligible to work in hospitals, private clinics, rehabilitation centers, special schools, research institutions, and academic settings. The BASLP degree also serves as a foundation for higher studies such as MASLP, MSc in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology, Linguistics, Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, and related fields.
